“It is with deep sadness that the Board of Governance, Management, Staff, Volunteers and Supporters of Lifeline Macarthur pay a final tribute following the untimely  loss of our Colleague and Friend Di Missingham.

Di’s high profile and hard work in the Macarthur Community is well known and will be extensively acknowledged by others. It is the unique differences and opportunities that she brought to Lifeline Macarthur, which made her without equal as the Fundraising Manager of our organization.

Di was a tireless worker both when in the office and at home; never off the job, as it were. Always looking for new opportunities and creative ways to elevate our profile in the community to raise the increasing level of funding needed to support our Telephone Counselling, Outreach and Community Support Services.

There were days in recent weeks when Di would continue to work and attend meetings even when not feeling the best. This then was the mark of a truly dedicated person that put her own priorities and wellness second to her loyalty and sense of purpose to her work and family.

At Lifeline Macarthur, we regard it as a privilege to have had Di work and be part of our family, so it is with heavy hearts that we join with the wider Community to reflect on her life, contribution, happiness and support”.
